The recorder's Pure Cinema progressive scan provides a cinema-like presentation for movies being viewed, while a complete connections package includes a comfortable digital video input in the front panel for a simple connection to digital video cameras. Some of the new LCD displays have what is called a DVI, or digital video input, connection. The platform comprises three individual yet fully interoperable functional modules: Video-in for digital video input, the Fisheye correction engine, and an LCD Driver for display output. |
