CAPTION(S): SPECIAL HONOUR: Sarah Lancashire who has become an Honorary Doctor of Letters which was awarded to her by the University of Huddersfield
The 48-year-old will be made an Honorary Doctor of Letters at De Montfort University, Leicester, on Tuesday.
Rodney Bickerstaffe, president of the National Pensioners Convention and former general secretary of trade union Unison, is to be made an honorary doctor of letters, as is Leamingtonborn theatre critic Michael Billington, a former Warwick School pupil.
