Kingsey Falls, Quebec, Canada, and Domtar, Quebec each entered a guilty plea in a Canadian Superior Court in relation to sales in Ontario (Cascades) and Quebec (Domtar) of carbonless sheet paper by their respective paper merchant businesses. PHOENIX -- Honeywell (NYSE:HON) announced today that it has earned a START-IT Technology and Business Enabler Award in recognition of its work on behalf of customer Domtar Windsor, one of North America's largest integrated pulp and paper companies. Suffering from the strain of a stronger loonie and increasing overhead costs, pulp and paper producer Domtar posted a net loss of $24 million for the first quarter of 2006. |
