Clinical dose-volume histogram analysis for pneumonitis after 3D treatment for non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) Int J Radiat Oncol Biol Phys 1999;45:323-9.
Dose-volume histograms (DVHs) were calculated for each patient from 5 Gy to 40 Gy at a 5-Gy dose-level interval (20 patients did not receive CT examinations in our center; thus only the absolute volume parameters were recorded).
Medical records were available for all but one of these survivors, and 85% had on file dose-volume histograms for the anal sphincter, rectum, sigmoid, small intestine, urinary bladder, vagina, and pelvic bones.
