All The-Ice accredited institutions are highly regarded for their hospitality and tourism courses and EAHM has now joined the ranks of these institutions which include public and private universities from more than 10 different countries, it said.
Over the past three years, Kitts has been instrumental in building a rapport with hotels, restaurants and other sectors of the hospitality industry and in setting up the inaugural EAHM Street Food Festival.
Commenting on the new partnership between EAHM and HAMA MEA, Judy Hou, Managing Director of The Emirates Academy of Hospitality Management, said: We are proud of this partnership as this collaboration will give our students the invaluable experience needed before they enter the industry.
The MOU agreement establishes a new academic exchange programme between EAHM and CMH.
Earlier in 2011, EAHM was also accredited by the Institute of Hospitality (IOH) which is a UK-based accreditation body that promotes the highest professional standards of management and education in the international hospitality, leisure and tourism industries.
Gerald Lawless, Head of Tourism and Hospitality, Dubai Holding and Chancellor of the EAHM visited Malta to meet with His Excellency Joseph Muscat, Prime Minister of Malta, to see the site of the new college, and to sign the agreement.
EAHM also celebrated its tenth anniversary this year, which Hilvert said would be marked by an understated celebration.
