Le Stelle, or The Stars, is being developed by EGSI Group, a part of Al Barakah. The Texas service territory of EGSI had been preparing for retail open access in accordance with Senate Bill 7, signed into law in 1999, that established the legislative framework for introducing retail electric choice in Texas. One of the main differences between EGSI and these larger brokerage houses is that EGSI does not have any investment banking relationships. |
