EMSF said they are devising alternative plans to make up for the lost day.
A group of traffic police along with EMSF officials will tour the city in unmarked vehicles on the lookout for drivers who abide by traffic rules and regulations.
The exhibition is being organised on the advice of Shaikh Marwan bin Rashid Al Mualla, EMSF
Chairman, and Mohammed bin Sulayem, Middle East's famous car racing champion, who chairs the Automobile and Touring Club, the only officially nominated representative of the FIA, motor sport's world governing body in the UAE.
We have a lot of competition in the cars, bikes and quads and the championship is developing into a very interesting series, with everything to compete for as we reach the half way point," said ATCUAE and EMSF
President Mohammad Ben Sulayem.
We have a lot of quality in the championship now and 135 competitors is a big number," said ATCUAE and EMSF
President Mohammad Bin Sulayem.
In a statement, Atiq Hassan Mubarak, EMSF
general secretary, said: "While it may not necessarily have altered driving habits of a majority of road users, RoadStar has certainly been able to create an awareness of the need to drive safely.
General Secretary Atiq Hassan Mubarak said "The federation has been at the helm of this initiative since its inception and it is true that while it may not necessarily have altered driving habits of a majority of road users, RoadStar has certainly been able to create an awareness of the need to drive safely.
The event signifies the beginning of a new sporting partnership between the two organisations, just three months after the appointment of ATCUAE President Dr Mohammad Ben Sulayem as the EMSF
President in a move initiated by Shaikh Nahyan Mubarak Al Nahyan, the UAE Minister of Culture, Youth and Community Development.
