He has been accomplishing this while continuing to progress through his training program -- including mastering three new cost-estimating models without formal training, becoming a critical member of the ERCM and CALCM estimate efforts, and developing a "Cost Risk" Module for the ASC Analyst. The Air Force asked Congress for permission to reallocate to other accounts the $40 million that had been approved for ERCM in fiscal year 2001. The ERCM is viewed as an interim weapon, to keep the B-52H viable until the more advanced Long Range Cruise Missile (LRCM) becomes available around 2010. |
