DoD guidance for integrating SE with EVM is included in the Defense Acquisition Guidebook (DAG); the SE Plan Preparation Guide; the Work Breakdown Structure Handbook, MIL-HDBK-881 A; and the Integrated Master Plan and Integrated Master Schedule Preparation and Use Guide. If all emulators were written to run on a single "emulation virtual machine" (EVM), then they could all be rehosted at once on a new hardware platform simply by implementing or rehosting the EVM on that platform. With Earned Value Management (EVM) as the central theme, this year's conference has been co-chaired by Buddy Everage of BAE Systems, and Keith Kratzert, EVM focal point for the Federal Aviation Administration. |
