The skip lorry used in the raid - registration T486 EWR - was one of two stolen an hour earlier from Rotton Park Street, in Ladywood. But the firm's former managers have now launched a new company, EWR Recycling, after winning pounds 15,000 of business and European grants. EWR secretary Jeff Stevens says the aim is to extend the service into a bigger circuit than its previous incarnation. |
