Information about the earned income tax credit and how to claim it is also available on IRS.
The Worcester Earned Income Tax Credit Coalition, the city and 22 partners, held a press conference at City Hall to publicize the Earned Income Tax Credit and free income tax preparation and filing assistance that will be available at four sites in the city for qualified taxpayers.
More than 6,000 nonprofit organizations and government agencies participate in the center's National Tax Credit Outreach Campaign, which focuses on increasing awareness of the earned income tax credit and child tax credit.
