The em series features electric motor driven plastication, injection and ejection. It consists of an electric motor driven shaft pair, comprised of two concentrically aligned, flexible connected shafts allowing the inner, measuring shaft to have a phase shift in respect to the outer, drive shaft. To increase fuel economy, automakers have shown a growing trend to replace belt driven pumps and fans with electric motor driven pumps and fans to improve fuel efficiency by reducing the parasitic load on the combustion engine. |
