As part of the Advanced Hybrid Vehicle Powertrains (Part 3 of 5) session (Code: P21,) this session will discuss alternatives to chemical batteries for some hybrid vehicle applications, including an electromechanical battery (EMB) that combines an electric machine with hydrapneumatics to provide energy capture, storage, and propulsion assistance.
