Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the Electronic Industries Alliance, will provide up-to-date information on the collection and recycling of electronic waste. A new series of PVC color concentrates reportedly enables wire and cable manufacturers to cut costs while meeting Munsell color standards specified by the National Electrical Manufacturers Association (NEMA) and by Electronic Industries Alliance (EIA) Standard 359-A. Organizations such as the National Recycling Coalition and the Electronic Industries Alliance Consumer Education Initiative have launched Web sites to help consumers either recycle or donate their used equipment. |
