Approximately 88 cases of documented ELST have been previously reported. The IISRP named the following standing committee chairmen: Michael Penman, Exxon-Mobil Chemical Europe, environmental health committee; Hendrik Van der Elst, Ato-fina Elastomers, technical/operating committee; and Jim de Costo-badie, Zeon Chem-icals Europe, statistical committee. Eric Elst of the Belgian Royal Observatory in Brussels identified such an object, 1996 N2, by analyzing pictures taken by Guido Pizarro at the European Southern Observatory in La Silla, Chile. |
