This means that the Ericsson Engine Integral Network, using layered architecture, is connected directly to the Ericsson Engine Access Ramp without a local exchange for connecting access nodes. According to a three year frame agreement, the multi-service network contract covers delivery of ENGINE Access Ramp with PSTN and ADSL, modems and extensions to Telia Denmark's existing ENGINE network. Ericsson will supply new software for the whole fixed network and existing narrow-band access nodes will be replaced by ENGINE Access Ramp. |
