The Ethernet Metropolitan Area Network (MAN) switch market continues to be held hostage by the downturn in the economy, according to In-Stat/MDR, Scottsdale, Ariz.
Under the terms of the seven-year contract, AT&T companies will implement an Optical Ethernet Metropolitan Area Network (OPT-E-MAN(R)) to support bandwidth intensive applications, such as videostreaming and distance learning, at all 32 locations throughout the district.
Under the terms of the five-year contract, AT&T companies will implement an Optical Ethernet Metropolitan Area Network (Opt-E-MAN(R)) to support Folsom's internal applications at multiple offices and facilities throughout the community.
