GE Fanuc Automation was formed by General Electric and FANUC in 1986 to cooperate globally on the programmable logic controller (PLC) and computerized numerical controller (CNC) business.
An advanced form of held oriented control (FOC) capitalizing on the current generation of high-speed DSPs and the FANUC FSSB communication system allows the servo feedback data from the encoder and amplifier to be interpolated in a significantly shorter amount of time.
