According to company officials, to accurately meet the demands of the industry and the requests from existing customers, FICS made the commitment to enhance the Mortgage Servicer solution with the capability to service the adjustable rate mortgage loans known as Option ARMs.
With this enhanced functionality, Loan Producer customers can generate a MISMO credit request, send it directly to a credit vendor who accepts credit requests using the MISMO standard, without having to request custom coding changes from FICS or reenter data.
Traditionally, FICS had delivered quarterly software updates via shipped CD-ROMs, but switched to online delivery after working with its customer base to determine that an electronic download, via the Internet, would be the best delivery method.
