The FYA provides seed-funding for ideas; proactively seeks co-funding to support initiatives; and helps grant recipients build their organisational capacity to ensure long-term sustainability.
The FYA grants alert service is available on request--put `Grants Alert Mailing List Addition' in the subject field of an email addressed to: Headoffice@youngaustralians.
The model allows young people from outside the FYA working with it to make decisions about the kinds of project to be funded, and then to work alongside the Foundation to keep those projects sustainable.
