Toys displayed Tuesday included balloons, which can cause choking when popped or deflated; water yo-yos, fluid-filled spheres on a stretchy, rubbery strings that can wrap around children's necks; two makeup kits that include nail polish containing the hazardous substance dibutyl phthalate; and even the widely used FIMO and Sculpey modeling clays, which include high concentrations of phthalates. The company, which already manages players such as Gascoigne and Babayaro has added new stars to its management stable following the purchase of Italian agency FIMO, for pounds 15m. The FIMO will be formed by reorganizing an FSA section which has engaged in preparatory work for the establishment of the envisioned office. |
