This shelter would allow the Florida Keys Aqueduct Authority to house our first responder employees during a storm event to ensure their immediate availability to restore operation of water and wastewater utilities. The long-term 'AA+' rating on the bonds is based jointly on the underlying rating assigned to the Florida Keys Aqueduct Authority (FKAA), rated 'A+' by Fitch, and the support provided by an irrevocable direct-pay LOC issued by TD Bank, N. Proceeds of the sale of the bonds will be used to fund certain capital improvements to the Florida Keys Aqueduct Authority Water System and to refund prior 2001 and 2005 bonds. |
