Summary of findings Breaking with a tradition of tabling reports on arms exports in Parliament, Foreign Affairs and International Trade Canada (DFAIT 2009) posted the report of 2006 arms exports to its website several weeks after the House of Commons rose in June.
The study tour from May 10-17 was organized by the Parliamentary Centre Canada and Department of Foreign Affairs and International Trade Canada (DFAIT) to provide an opportunity to the parliamentarians to interact with their counterparts in the Canadian parliamentarian and share knowledge about the budget formulation procedures.
It was developed by Foreign Affairs and International Trade Canada in partnership with the Aboriginal International Business Development committee to respond to a growing demand for export development information.
