Byline: BEN RUMSBY TOM WILLIAMS has revealed the extent of the pressure he felt under from Harlequins not to make a full disclosure on the events behind the "Bloodgate" scandal.
A HOME OFFICE statement today said: "Hillsborough was a terrible tragedy and the Government is committed to full disclosure of information held centrally and by local agencies in order to help provide a permanent record of documentation relating to the tragedy.
An important part of the problem has been the very lack of transparency that has enabled the concealment of whatever transpired in the abuse of the funds, and presumably this is what led to the idea of an amnesty, and again presumably, such amnesty would be given in return for full disclosure.
