The United Nations General Assembly adopted World Charter for Nature in 1982 (UNGA Resolution 37/7 GAOR, 37th Session) which explicitly states that the Governments have a duty to pass on their natural heritage to future generations.
The facilities at GAOR have been leased to a third party for nominal revenue under a short-term lease agreement in order to supply naphtha to test and commission a recently constructed new- process reforming plant.
GAOR has now employed an engineering consultancy firm to investigate the feasibility of installing a catalytic reformer to produce high-octane gasoline.
