There were no significant differences in the GMFM and GMPM scores achieved between the routine and intensive amounts of therapy or between the general, aim-directed therapy and the specific, goal-directed therapy in either motor function or motor performance.
[13] An international panel of experts working in academic and clinical settings provided judgments on content validity of the GMPM using a Delphi consensus method.
The distinction between these two measures is that the GMFM measures how much a child can do, whereas the GMPM measures quality of performance, or how well a child performs a subset of the same gross motor tasks.
