The day was a joint initiative between construction companies Balfour Beatty, Vinci, Morgan Ashurst and Liverpool Community College to urge pupils to consider all aspects of the industry and find out more about taking the Built Environment diploma, which can be studied at GSCE, A Level and university standard.
All 157 GSCE students gained five or more A* to C grades and 75 per cent achieved an A or A* in at least 10 of their subjects.
Advisers are also set to help GSCE students examine their options for education, training or employment after results are announced on August 27.
