The U-GAS[R] technology, which the company licenses from the Gas Technology Institute, is designed to turn waste coal products into high value synthesis gas for use in power and chemical applications. Melanie Kenderdine, Vice President of the Gas Technology Institute and RPSEA Board Member, stated "Congressman Lampson has already been very helpful at informing his colleagues in Congress about the importance of this valuable research program in helping to meet the nation's demand for affordable natural gas.
