ON began work on construction of two new combined-cycle gas turbine units at its Surgutskaya GRES-2 power plant in Siberia.
The first gas turbine units will be required to meet power requirements during the commissioning of the GTL facility, which is scheduled to begin commercial operation by the end of the decade.
