THE Great Britain and Northern Ireland athletics team for the World Championships in Berlin is announced tomorrow, with only a few places likely to cause debate.
A series of races throughout the day includes the trials for the Great Britain and Northern Ireland women's and men's teams to compete at the 2008 European Championships Among the stars competing are Beijing Olympic Games 1,500 metres semi finalist Steph Twell and St Helens' David Forrester, who was the top British male at this years' World Cross Country Championships.
This means he came from the Republic of Ireland, not the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.
