Wick and coworkers (11) reported that gross cystic disease fluid protein 15 (BRST-2) was statistically significant in its lack of staining in eccrine sweat gland carcinomas as compared to ductal carcinomas of the breast.
[1-4] Immunohistochemical stains for gross cystic disease fluid protein 15 (GCDFP-15) and cytokeratins (CKs) 7 and 20 have been found to be useful in separating those cases of PPD that are associated with rectal adenocarcinoma from those that are not.
