HKEx said it is seeking to expand that part of the market by allowing flexibility in strike prices and contract months. HKEx and Brazil's BM&F Bovespa, the biggest bourses in Latin America, have overtaken NYSE Euronext, Nasdaq OMX and the London Stock Exchange in the value of shares in the exchange companies themselves. HKEx said its chief operating officer Frederick Grede will be acting as chief executive during the interim period from next Wednesday to the end of this month. |
