The HMI rose two points to 17 in July as builders saw an improvement in current sales conditions, but continued to express concerns about the future. Two completely new interfaces, the HMI (Human Machine Interface) and the OWS (Operator Workstation), provide different levels of user access for NDC Infrared Engineering's recently launched Ethernet-enabled MM710e NIR gauge for critical process parameters in the food industry such as moisture, fat, protein, sugars and temperature. HMI provides a mechanism by which users can input or manipulate a system, and provides the system a way to output or produce the effects of the users'' manipulation. |
