Needleman has completed transactions on behalf of Hachette Book Group USA, Scientific Games Corporation, HSH Nordbank, Reed Elsevier, AXA Financial and McCarter & English, among other notable firms. The campaign, called Plant for the Planet: Billion Tree Campaign, was undertaken by the United Nations Environment Program; 2004 Nobel Peace Prize Laureate Wangari Maathai (see Earthkeepers, Spring 2006); and HSH Albert II, Sovereign Prince of Monaco. Deccan Aviation, parent of Indian LCC Air Deccan, sold rights to future aircraft deliveries to South Way Aircraft Trading of the Cayman Islands, a special-purpose vehicle, in a $100 million transaction funded by Investec Bank of the UK and Germany's HSH Nord Bank, according to press reports. |
