At the time of sinking, Sindia was the world's largest four masted, steel hull sailing vessel built by Harland and Wolff, builders of the Titanic and was owned by John D. Harland and Wolff recently won orders for two floating drill ships for Global Marine of Houston. Harland and Wolff will design and build the 950,000 barrel capacity vessel in its Belfast facility. |
