In 2003, its Chicago care management center became the first in the nation to hold simultaneous accreditations from JCAHO, NCQA and the American Accreditation Healthcare Commission (AAHC). Ancillary Care Management (ACM), the leading specialty pharmacy and infusion benefits management company, announced that it has been awarded Accreditation in Health Utilization Management by URAC, also known as the American Accreditation HealthCare Commission. The Company's programs have been reviewed and approved for clinical excellence by Johns Hopkins and remain the only disease management programs to have been certified or accredited by the National Committee on Quality Assurance (NCQA), the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Health Care Organizations (JCAHO), and the American Accreditation Healthcare Commission (URAC). |
