In addition to their polyol range, Cerestar will also be promoting their range of speciality high maltose corn syrups for sugar replacement in neumerous applications in bakery and confectionery, as well as selected specialities from their wide range of modified starches, which includes the following: Cerestar HiForm cold water swelling starches; Cerestar Em Cap emulsifying starches, and Cerestar dry MD highly purified via ion exchange maltodextrins.
This included a dramatic volume increase in Latin American corn refining, coming chiefly from the addition of a highly successful new product in Brazil, high maltose corn syrup for the brewing industry.
