This past July 25, during the special congress of the IAMCR in the UNESCO headquarters in Paris, 900 members of the IAMCR (International Association of Media and Communication) celebrated the life achievements of Jim Halloran in communication research.
Professor Halloran and others established the IAMCR as a networking structure, and this was a basis for the research facilitating work that the CSCC, then in London, was doing throughout the world.
