To kick off this rendezvous and celebrate more than 200- year- old Indo- French ties, a memorandum of understanding ( MoU) was signed by the ICCR and the French Embassy for greater cooperation in cultural exchanges.
The inaugural programme was presided over by Dr Karan Singh, Chairman of ICCR, and the other ICCR dignitaries present were Dr Bharati Ray, Vice President and Pavan Verma, Director General.
The Population Council and its ICCR are also studying CDB-2914 for use as a potential contraceptive.
