The acquisition is the first investment in Japan for IEIL since it was established in 2005. About IEIL Established in 2005, IEIL is a private investment company located in the Republic of Ireland. This investment demonstrates Permira's ability to identify strong investment opportunities in the region following its recent investment in Galaxy Entertainment Group of Hong Kong JP Morgan, Clifford Chance, PricewaterhouseCoopers and Permira Ireland Limited acted as advisers to IEIL on the acquisition which is expected to close in the first quarter 2008, subject to regulatory and anti-trust review and approval. |
