Ignace Vergote, President of the IGCS and Coordinator of the trial, commented, "The results of this study provide additional evidence that resistance to a platinum-based therapy, as predicted by the Oncotech EDR Assay, is a significant negative predictor of response to first line platinum-based chemotherapy. The Award was presented at the 10th Annual IGCS Banquet held at the Marriott Hotel & Marina in San Diego. A spokesman for IGCS said the claim was being reviewed again and that he could not comment further until that had happened. |
