Davies said in the near term, customers too far away from Verizon central offices can get a slower version of DSL called ISDL from NorthPoint.
This new business service is designed to deliver speed and functionality to businesses that have from two-to-250 PCs and can run on any connection type including dial-up, ISDN, Frame Relay, ISDL, ADSL, SDSL, T1, E1, Cable, OC1 and all forms of wireless including cellular phones.
In addition to testing ADSL, HDSL, HDSL2, ISDL, and SDSL modems, it also can be used to test emerging DSL technologies including SHDSL and VoDSL, adding greater utility and value for customers.
