Measures such as ITSS (IT Skill Standardization) and the strengthening of IT education are being taken.
The Justice Department plans to release a solicitation later this month for its ITSS III, a multiple award indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity contract program available to all federal agencies for IT support services and task related hardware.
The contract was awarded through the ITSS office in Dayton, OH, under General Services Administration's IT Schedule 70, which covers support for Information Technology and Financial Management.
