5 years of ice elevation data from NASA's Ice, Cloud and land Elevation satellite (ICESat) to create the most complete inventory to date of changes in the Antarctic plumbing system.
Data collected by a satellite launched in 2003 -- the Ice, Cloud and Land Elevation Satellite, or ICESat -- revealed a complex network of subglacial plumbing in which water periodically cascades from one hidden reservoir to another.
Additionally, the company builds commercial spacecraft and is slated to launch QuickBird 2 in October for EarthWatch Incorporated, followed by the Ice, Cloud and land Elevation Satellite (ICESat) for NASA.
