HP (NYSE:HPQ) (Nasdaq:HPQ) has announced "HP Select," a program to help customers address challenges that may arise in the areas of identity and access management as a result of Computer Associates' planned acquisition of Netegrity. Identity and Access Management refers to a technology field encompassing areas such as authentication mechanisms, password management, Web- and enterprise-SSO, user account provisioning, integrated identity repository, access control software, and Web services security. |
