Khalidi's scientific dayUnder the patronage of Minister of Health Salah Al-Mawajdeh, the Fertility and Genetic Department at Al-Khalidi Medical Center held its scientific day on Friday at Radisson SAS Hotel, where international renowned specialists gathered to discuss Assisted Reproductive Technology (ART) that involves several types of medical treatment designed to result in pregnancy, genetics in ART, male infertility, and In-Vitro Maturation of Oocytes.
These are then ripened in the laboratory, using a procedure known as in-vitro maturation (IVM), and then frozen for future use.
LONDON -- In recognition of its successful development of the pioneering in-vitro maturation (IVM) procedure, Denmark-based MediCult has been selected to receive the 2005 Frost & Sullivan Technology Innovation Award for the European infertility treatment markets.
