In April 1999 the Model was revised to take account of the growing importance of knowledge management, and additional measures to reflect the degree of innovation and learning within an organisation were introduced. The balanced scorecard is one common approach, which covers financial strength, customer satisfaction, business processes, innovation and learning. By focussing on static categories of knowledge and skill, we are missing dynamic details of the unfolding processes of innovation and learning. |
