At the time, IBM showed off a demonstration of an upgraded QVC serving up 1 million input/output operations per second (IOPS).
Called the Intel[R] X25-E Extreme SATA Solid-State Drive, these products are designed to maximize the Input/Output Operations Per Second (IOPS), which equates to higher performance and lower enterprise costs.
The 32GB Intel X25-E Extreme SATA is based on Intel's single-level cell NAND flash memory and is designed to maximize the input/output operations per second, while the X25M is a multi-level cell memory affording it greater capacity.
