While still not law, it is clear that the current MOL draft fails to address the ILO's stated concerns that it contains provisions "inconsistent with international labour standards," especially with respect to Convention nos. By the same token, the purpose of this organizational study is to better understand whether, and how, broad international values such as interdependence, regime norms and, specifically in this case, international labour standards, are accepted and internalized by China. It further stated that international labour standards should be adhered to. |
