The Internet Watch Foundation is the UK hotline for the public to report their accidental exposure to criminal content on the internet.
The Internet Watch Foundation said the proportion of websites posting horrific images of child torture or rape is up 11 per cent.
The appliance now also includes the Internet Watch Foundation (IWF) database feed which blocks access to websites breaching the Protection of Children Act 1978.
